In late October, Chairman Zhang Xiaobo led a team to the EPC project site of the Third Solid Waste Disposal Center (Phase 1) in Hangzhou, visited the project owner, Hangzhou Linjiang Environmental Energy Co., Ltd., and its parent company, Hangzhou Environmental Group, and had a friendly meeting with Chairman Zhang Jianfeng of Hangzhou Environmental Group. The two sides agreed to further improve the communication mechanism, deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation, and work together to make the project a benchmark project in China and to contribute to promoting regional green development, innovative development and sustainable development, as well as technological progress, development and upgrading of China's environmental protection industry.

         The team also visited the first domestic waste landfill designed by Nerin in the 1980s -- Hangzhou Tianziling Waste Landfill, which was awarded the title of demonstration project by the Ministry of Construction. It was closed in 2007 and reconstructed into a scenic eco-park.
